Former baseball player, steroid user, author, and rat Jose Canseco put his 10 New Year's resolutions on Twitter this week, and there at No. 5 -- tucked between "return to pro baseball as player or manager and have dinners with McGwire, La Russa, Bonds, and Selig" and "develop and launch Ponce de CAnseco a real anti aging drink" (all sic) -- lay this gem:

Now this may sound ridiculous, but Canseco actually has some experience as an MMA fighter. More than that, Canseco has experience as an MMA fighter fighting men who are over seven feet tall. Back in May 2009, Canseco took on gargantuan South Korean kickboxer Hong Man Choi:
So, if Shaq agrees to the fight, Canseco just needs to remember what he learned against Choi and add in a touch of Charles Barkley's ancient basketball-to-the-head technique demonstrated below, and he should be fine. The same probably can't be said for the sport of mixed martial arts.
